This conversation about the critical role Black women played in the suffrage movement was originally livestreamed to the National Geographic Women of Impact Facebook Group on August 10, 2020.

PANELISTS:

* Debra Adams Simmons, executive editor at National Geographic (moderator)
* Martha S. Jones, author and historian
* Michelle Duster, journalist and great-granddaughter of Ida B. Wells
