How to Grill Lobster Tails

Grilled Lobster Tails with Garlic Aioli
Prep Time: 5 min.
Total Time: 20 min.
Serves: 4
1/2 cup (125 mL) mayonnaise
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 tbsp (15 mL) lemon juice
2 tsp (10 mL) chopped fresh parsley or tarragon
1/4 tsp (1 mL) paprika
¼ tsp each salt and pepper
8 (3 1/2 oz./100 g) lobster tails
2 tbsp (30 mL) olive oil
Directions:
1. Make the aioli by combining mayonnaise, garlic, lemon juice, fresh herbs, paprika, salt and pepper in a small bowl. Cover and refrigerate.
2. Cut each lobster tail in half lengthwise, pat pieces dry with paper towel. Brush lobster with olive oil and season with salt and pepper; grill, cut-side down, on medium-high grill for 2 min. Turn cut-side up and grill 2 min. more, or until just cooked through; serve immediately with garlic aioli.
