Keenjhar Lake is located in Thatta District, Sindh province of Pakistan. It is situated about 36 kilometres from the city of Thatta. It is the second-largest fresh water lake in Pakistan and an important source of drinking water for Thatta District and Karachi city. Keenjhar lake is famous due to fresh sweet water and it is named after Keenjhar, father of Noori a girl belonged with fishermen community. Sufi poet of Sindh, Shah Abdul Latif Bhittai had made poetry on love story of the girl on Jam Tamachi king fall in love and married with her. Keenjhar Lake Resort is situated at Keenjhar lake, Thatta, Sindh, Pakistan operated by the Sindh Tourism Development Corporation. The resort is developed on the bank of Keenjhar lake, which is ideal place for winter migratory birds come from regions of North Asia in winter season.

The Shah Jahan Mosque (Badshahi Moaque) was built in the reign of Mughal emperor Shah Jahan. It is located in Thatta, Sindh province, Pakistan.This mosque was built in 1647 during the reign of Mughal King Shah Jahan, also known as the builder King.The mosque has overall 93 domes and it is world’s largest mosque having such number of domes.
In the town of Thatta (100 km / 60 miles from Karachi), this mosque is famous as Shahjahani Mosque with its beautiful architecture.
