Make a Saloon Bird Feeder - Easy DIY Weekend Woodworking Project

Here's a saloon-style bird feeder that is sure to attract attention from all the night owls out there. It's made from two inexpensive 6-foot untreated fence boards from the local home center (since pressure-treated boards might be harmful to our feathered friends). It has three bar stools and wooden bottles on the bar. Birds are sure to flock to this saloon for the best wings in town!

You can adapt this bird feeder for other themes too, such as a lemonade stand, ice cream shop, coffee shop, hot dog stand, diner, etc. Use your imagination!

Materials List:
Two 6-foot Untreated Fence Boards (treated lumber not recommended)
1-1/4" Exterior Screws
Wood Glue
1/8" Plexiglass
1 Small Hinge
Black Spraypaint
Bird Seed

Cut list using 5.5" wide boards:
Two 18" pieces glued together for the back
Two 2" x 13.5" sides with 10 degree angle on one end
One 11" bottom piece
One 11" top piece with 10 degree bevel along one long side
One 4" x 9.5" piece for the bar.
Three 3/4" dowels and 2" squares for the bar stools
