Home Renovation for Brave Teen with Brain Cancer and His Three Siblings | George to the Rescue
At the tender age of three, Danny Marquino was diagnosed with a rare form of pediatric brain cancer. Danny's parents, Larry and Christine, felt shattered when a Neurosurgeon predicted that Danny would only live for another eighteen months. Now, nearly thirteen years later, Danny is alive and well. Despite being in stable condition, Danny has endured years of chemotherapy, seizures, and developmental issues. It is with the unconditional love and support of his family, that Danny can maintain his unbreakable spirit and positive energy. George Oliphant and George to the Rescue visit the deserving Marquino family to surprise them with a much-needed home renovation, visit to Steamboat Springs and the Mets' David Wright surprises him with one-of-a-kind batting practice session at Citi Field.
