South Korea Travel - My 2019 Summer in Seoul, Jeju, Busan and more!

Hi all,

As a Half Korean Half Englishman living in London, although I have visited London occasionally, I felt that I had never got the chance to REALLY visit South Korea. I decided to take a short career break last year and travelled to South Korea for 2 months!

I spent my time attending an International Summer Korean School in Seoul called Lexis where I improved my reading/writing. Here I met loads of cool people from all over the world, some of who quickly became good friends of mine.

I also had a lovely Korean girlfriend who you will see in the video who has since become my wife! We got married in Korea early in 2019. I spent lots of time travelling the whole of Korea with her. This includes Jeju, Busan, Incheon and more. She was an excellent tour guide, without her I am sure I wouldn't have seen half of what I did!

Lastly, I spent a lot of my time visiting my Korean family on my mums side! It was a great opportunity to spend more time with them as before this trip I had only gotten to see them for a couple days every 5 years or so. This is one of the main reasons I decided to take a career break rather than coming for another short holiday.

I would highly recommend anyone thinking of visiting Korea to do it! Definitely my favourite country with Seoul being my favourite city in the world!
